Narrative i Documentary

T-MOBILE “Electronic Beats – Georgia”

The objective was to create branded content for T-Mobile Electronic Beats, showing Tbilisi and it’s vibrant clubbing culture. We ended up with a short documentary about much more than just techno.

Pre-production

It was our second time in Tbilisi, we got some contacts through friends and being already in speed after shooting first episode in Belgrade, Sebria – we were more than ready to repeat this crazy rodeo with Tbilisi’s electronic music scene.

Legendary KHIDI Club in Tbilisi

Production

We traveled to Tbilisi with with not much more than a contact to a local fixer – Nika. We knew there was alot happening musicly, but the truth is we wanted to penetrate deeper into thesocial fabric of Tbilisi. Day by day, gaining trust and meetiong new people, we began to capture more and more compelling stories.

The title of the documentary ended up being “Future of the Past” which felt natural as we discovered that the young generation is stuck somewhere between the old and the new. Some friendships built during this trip resulted in more projects, such as a music video (Czarny HIFI – Ostatatnie Szlugi), which you can also find in our portfolio.

Skateboarding is another layer of narrative in this movie

Post-Production

Legendary editor Jakub Nowak was the one who edited this gem, color grading done by Nikodem Witkowski.

Delivery and Closure

This film had its run online with a great feedback from both music people and audience.
